Discuss Music

I’ve loved and hated many kinds of music throughout my life. My tastes have changed so much I’ve actually loved and hated the same thing. But I can’t discount the time in my life when those sweet, closed-voicing boy band harmonies defined my very existence, or the time when bluegrass music was the most thoughtless, boring, honky-tonk stuff I’d ever heard. Sometimes it’s interesting to look back and see how I was led in different directions. I felt the way I did for a reason, and I think I can only speak accurately of the artists who have most recently influenced me. I’ll be talking about them over the next few days.
